A proposal has been submitted to Caerphilly County Borough Council to convert a hand car wash business in Risca into a tire-fitting establishment.
If approved, Sherwan Sharif, the applicant, intends to keep the existing canopy at Risca Hand Car Wash on St Mary Street, while adding metal cladding sheets to create a new garage.
A planning statement, submitted by Heights and Joy Architecture and Planning, states that the site has been operating without issues for several years and has not received any complaints from neighboring units or residents.
According to the agents, using the site for tire-fitting would not cause significant disturbance to nearby residents, as it would not generate more noise than the current use of the site or harm the neighbors in any way.
